Cwriwcwlm i Gymru - Clwstwr Llanhari

Fel clwstwr, rydym wedi bod yn cydweithio'n agos iawn er mwyn sicrhau gweledigaeth gytun ar gyfer y cwricwlwm newydd ac i gynllunio continwwm dysgu clir i'n holl dysgwyr ar draws y bedair ysgol.  

Rydym yn cyhoeddi crynodeb ar y cyd felly sy'n adlewyrchu ein hymrwymiad i weithredu ein cwricwlwm a'n trefniadau asesu o fis Medi 2022 a pharhau i'w hadolygu'n rheolaidd.

Curriculum for Wales - Llanhari Cluster

As a cluster, we have been working closely towards an agreed vision for the new curriculum and to plan for a clear continuum of learning for all our learners across the four schools.

Together, we have published a joint summary which reflects our commitment to implement our curriculum and assessment arrangements from September 2022 and that we will be continuing to review them regularly.

The Curriculum, Educational Organisation and Teaching Methods

Ysgol Gymraeg yw ein hysgol ni a disgwylir i bob disgybl ac aelod o staff ddefnyddio’r iaith trwy’r dydd, bob dydd. Defnyddir ystod o ddulliau addysgu sy’n cymryd i ystyriaeth y Maes dan sylw, anghenion unigol, diddordebau a thalentau arbennig y disgyblion.  Yn Ngham Cynnydd 1, dysgu trwy brofiadau ymarferol fydd y disgyblion.  Yng Ngham Cynnydd 2, mae’r addysgu yn gyfuniad o brofiadau ymarferol ynghyd â dysgu ac addysgu mwy ffurfiol ac erbyn Cam Cynnydd 3 addysgir yn fwy ffurfiol ar y cyfan. Ar draws yr ysgol ceir sesiynau i ddysgu y sgiliau Iaith a Maths yn y boreau a gwaith thematig o dan y 6 Maes Dysgu a Phrofiad bob prynhawn.  Yn dibynnu ar natur y dasg/ gweithgaredd, caiff y disgyblion eu grwpio o fewn dosbarthiadau mewn nifer o ffyrdd yn ôl y galw.  Gall yr athro/athrawes newid y grwpiau ar gyfer rhai gweithgareddau i sicrhau bod yr unigolyn yn gwneud ei orau glas ar bob achlysur.  Ar draws yr ysgol, datblygir sgiliau llythrennedd, rhifedd a chymhwysedd digidol ar draws y cwricwlwm trwy ddilyn y fframweithiau perthnasol. Y Pedwar Diben sydd wrth wraidd ein cwricwlwm a dyma yw ein dyhead ar gyfer pob disgybl.

Our school is a Welsh medium school and all pupils and staff members are expected to use the language in their daily routines all day, every day.  The Curriculum is delivered using a variety of teaching methods best suited to the subject, the individual needs, interests and ability of the children. In Progression Step 1, children are taught through practical experiences. In Progression Step 2 the teaching is a mixture of practical and more formal activities and by Progression Step 3, the teaching style is generally more formal. Across the school Maths and Language skills are taught in morning sessions and thematic work following the 6 Areas of Learning and Experience in the afternoons.  Depending on the nature of the task / activity, pupils are grouped and taught in a number of ways.  The teacher may change these groups for certain activities to ensure the pupils work at their best at all times.  Across the school, literacy, numeracy and digital competency skills are developed cross-curricularly by following the relevant frameworks. The Four Purposes are at the heart of our curriculum and this is our aspiration for all of our learners.
