Mae CCUHP yn golygu Confensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau’r Plentyn. Mae’n rhestr o hawliau sydd gan bob plentyn a pherson ifanc, ble bynnag yn y byd, ni waeth pwy ydyn nhw, ble maent yn byw na’r hyn maent yn credu ynddo.
Mae gan y CCUHP 54 erthygl ynddo, mae 42 yn hawliau i blant a phobl ifanc hyd at 18 oed. Mae’r lleill yn ymwneud â sut y dylai llywodraethau ac oedolion gydweithio i wneud yn siŵr y gall plant a phobl ifanc ddefnyddio’u hawliau.
Mae’r hawliau ar y rhestr yn bethau y mae ar blant a phobl ifanc eu hangen i wneud yn siŵr eu bod yn ddiogel, bod ganddynt y pethau y mae arnynt eu hangen i oroesi a datblygu, a’u bod yn cael dweud eu dweud ar benderfyniadau sy’n effeithio ar eu bywydau.

UNCRC stands for United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It’s a list of children’s rights that all children and young people, everywhere in the world have, no matter who they are, where they live or what they believe in.
The UNCRC has 54 articles in it, 42 rights are for children and young people up to 18 years of age.The others are all about how governments and adults should work together to make sure children and young people can access their rights.
