Health and Wellbeing
Mae Maes Dysgu a Phrofiad Iechyd a Llesiant yn cefnogi dysgwyr i ddatblygu’r wybodaeth, y sgiliau a’r agweddau sydd eu hangen i fyw bywydau hapus, iach a boddhaus. Trwy gwricwlwm eang a chytbwys, mae disgyblion yn archwilio iechyd corfforol, lles emosiynol, datblygiad personol a pherthnasoedd cymdeithasol. Maent yn dysgu am fwyta’n iach, gweithgarwch corfforol, iechyd meddwl a sut i gadw’n ddiogel, ar-lein ac all-lein. Mae cyfleoedd ar gyfer addysg gorfforol, dysgu yn yr awyr agored, ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar a llais y disgybl wedi’u hintegreiddio drwy gydol y diwrnod ysgol. Mae’r maes hwn hefyd yn hyrwyddo gwytnwch, empathi ac hunanymwybyddiaeth, gan helpu dysgwyr i ddeall eu hunain ac eraill, a gwneud dewisiadau cadarnhaol sy’n cefnogi eu llesiant nawr ac yn y dyfodol.
The Health and Wellbeing Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE) supports learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Through a broad and balanced curriculum, pupils explore physical health, emotional wellbeing, personal development, and social relationships. They learn about healthy eating, physical activity, mental health, and staying safe, both online and offline. Opportunities for physical education, outdoor learning, mindfulness, and pupil voice are embedded throughout the school day. This AoLE also promotes resilience, empathy, and self-awareness, helping learners to understand themselves and others, and to make positive choices that support their wellbeing now and in the future.

Physical Health and Wellbeing
Rydym yn helpu dysgwyr i ddeall sut i ofalu am eu cyrff a gwneud dewisiadau iach sy’n cefnogi llesiant gydol oes. Trwy wersi a gweithgareddau ymgysylltiol, mae disgyblion yn datblygu gwybodaeth ac arferion da o ran maeth, gweithgarwch corfforol, gofal personol a gorffwys. Ein nod yw grymuso pob plentyn i feithrin hyder wrth reoli eu hiechyd corfforol, gan gydnabod y cysylltiad cryf rhwng lles corfforol a gwytnwch emosiynol.
We help learners understand how to take care of their bodies and make healthy choices that support lifelong wellbeing. Through engaging lessons and activities, pupils develop knowledge and habits around nutrition, physical activity, personal care, and rest. We aim to empower every child to build confidence in managing their physical health, while also recognising the strong link between physical wellbeing and emotional resilience.

Rydym yn cefnogi dysgwyr i ddeall a rheoli eu meddyliau, eu teimladau a’u hymddygiad mewn amgylchedd diogel a chynhaliol. Trwy amrywiaeth o brofiadau, mae disgyblion yn datblygu llythrennedd emosiynol, gwytnwch a strategaethau i gefnogi eu hiechyd meddwl. Ein nod yw helpu pob plentyn i feithrin perthnasoedd cadarnhaol, mynegi eu hunain yn hyderus, a datblygu’r sgiliau sydd eu hangen i ymdopi â heriau bywyd.
We support learners to understand and manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe and nurturing environment. Through a range of experiences, pupils develop emotional literacy, resilience and strategies to support their mental health. We aim to help every child build positive relationships, express themselves confidently, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.

Rydym yn helpu dysgwyr i ddeall sut mae eu dewisiadau a’u hymddygiad yn effeithio ar eu lles eu hunain ac ar les pobl eraill. Anogir disgyblion i wneud penderfyniadau gwybodus a chyfrifol mewn sefyllfaoedd bob dydd, gan ddatblygu hyder, empathi a synnwyr cryf o gyfrifoldeb personol a chymdeithasol. Mae hyn yn eu cefnogi i ddod yn ddinasyddion ystyriol ac actif yn eu cymunedau ac ymhellach.
We help learners understand how their choices and behaviours affect their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. Pupils are encouraged to make informed, responsible decisions in everyday situations, developing confidence, empathy and a strong sense of personal and social responsibility. This supports them to become thoughtful, active citizens in their communities and beyond.

Rydym yn helpu dysgwyr i archwilio sut y gall perthnasoedd, y cyfryngau, diwylliant a chymdeithas ddylanwadu ar eu gwerthoedd, eu hymddygiad a’u llesiant. Anogir disgyblion i feddwl yn feirniadol am y byd o’u cwmpas, datblygu perthnasoedd parchus, a deall effaith pwysau cyfoedion a normau cymdeithasol. Mae hyn yn eu cefnogi i wneud dewisiadau cadarnhaol a gwybodus mewn byd sy’n newid yn barhaus.
We help learners explore how relationships, media, culture and society can influence their values, behaviours and wellbeing. Pupils are encouraged to think critically about the world around them, develop respectful relationships, and understand the impact of peer pressure and social norms. This supports them to make positive, informed choices in a changing world.

Healthy Relationships
Rydym yn dysgu y disgyblion am bwysigrwydd meithrin a chynnal perthnasoedd parchus, cefnogol a diogel. Mae disgyblion yn archwilio sut mae ymddiriedaeth, cyfathrebu ac empathi yn cyfrannu at ryngweithiadau cadarnhaol ag eraill. Mae hyn yn eu helpu i ddatblygu’r hyder a’r sgiliau sydd eu hangen i ffurfio cyfeillgarwch a pherthnasoedd iach drwy gydol eu bywydau.
We teach learners the importance of building and maintaining respectful, supportive and safe relationships. Pupils explore how trust, communication and empathy contribute to positive interactions with others. This helps them to develop the confidence and skills needed to form healthy friendships and relationships throughout their lives.
